Ski Getaways At Copper Point Resort

Escape the city. Escape to Kootenay ski country luxury. Plan your next family ski holiday and stay in newer, more elegant accommodations than you’ll find at neighbouring ski areas. The quiet uncrowded space here makes it easy to unwind.

So close

Copper Point Resort is less than a 20-minute drive from both Panorama Mountain Village and Fairmont Hot Springs ski hills. Wake up in a sleek new Copper Point suite and be on the slopes in no time. When the lifts close, the resort’s cozy in-suite fireplaces, indoor pool and steamy indoor and outdoor hot tubs are so close.

Panorama & Fairmont ski areas

Skiing here is powdery heaven. Nearby ski areas get as much as 479cm/188in of snow each year. The slopes at Panorama Mountain Village include 120 trails and bowls plus two terrain parks. Fairmont Hot Springs has 14 runs accessed by a chair lift and platter lift.

Kicking Horse, Kimberley Alpine Resort, Fernie Alpine Resort and other ski areas along the Kootenay Rockies “Powder Highway” are also within day-trip distance.

Heli-skiing adventures

Go off-grid for steep powder with local heli-skiing/boarding operators. In season, RK Heliski runs daily group and private adventures. Packages include multiple runs, gear rental, breakfast and a packed lunch.
