Toby Creek Adventures . offers snowmobile and ATV tours for all levels of daredevil. There guided tours guarantee fun for the whole family.
Reel Axe Adventures knows how to put the Axe in Axtreme. Offering fully stocked guided fishing excursions for the leisurely afternoon angler to the two day axetreme angler.
Copper Point Golf Club & The Ridge at Copper Point. Our championship course and master’s-style course offer 36 challenging holes, a driving range, practice area, golf academy, fully licensed restaurant and golf shop.
Columbia Valley Golf Trail. This trail features nine courses within a 25-minute drive of Copper Point Resort, including two onsite plus Fairmont, Eagle Ranch, Greywolf, Radium Springs and others.
Windermere Lake. A popular place for swimming, trout fishing, windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and picnicking.
Invermere Hot Springs. In any season, immerse yourself in three nearby hot springs: Radium Hot Springs, Fairmont Hot Springs and Lussier Hot Springs in Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park. These soothing mineral-rich pools are located in stunning settings amid canyons, hoodoos and lush forested wilderness.
Radium Hot Springs Mineral Pools. Canada’s largest mineral springs pool. This mountain setting also includes a cool pool, day spa and restaurant.
Kootenay National Park. Explore this massive park on hiking trails to spot bighorn sheep and hot and cold mineral springs including the iron-rich dark red-orange Paint Pots.
Biking on Westside Road. This easy, scenic and paved road runs more than 26km (16mi) along the west side of Windermere Lake.
Historic Buildings of Windermere. Walk the charming, friendly streets of Windermere and you’ll find the stolen church (St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 1887) and some of the valley’s first commercial buildings.

Winter activities
The BC Pond Hockey series is all about having fun! Playing hockey on backyard rinks, frozen ponds and lakes is how most kids started playing hockey. Copper Point Resort is a proud sponsor of the Adopt A Team Program for this years' BC Pond Hockey Championships taking place February 3-5, 2012 in Invermere BC
Area Ski Resorts. Fairmont and Panorama Mountain Village are less than a 20-minute drive from Copper Point Resort. Kicking Horse Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort, Lake Louise Ski Area and Fernie Alpine Resort are also within daytrip distance.
Heli-Skiing. Take your game up a notch. RK Heliski runs daily heli-skiing and heli-boarding adventures for beginners and more experienced powder hounds.
Snowmobiling. Explore the beautiful Purcell Mountains and spot wildlife on a full-day or half-day tour with Toby Creek Adventures.
Dog Sledding. At Panorama Mountain Village you can mush your own dog team or ride in a dog sled along the Delphine Glacier Trail.
Ice Skating & Skate Skiing. There are several popular ice rinks on Lake Windermere but you can also cross-country ski on it. The Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club clears the ice, grooms the skate skiing track and maintains a 15km track that circles the lake.
Ice Fishing. Build your own hut or enjoy the crisp mountain air. Ice fishing is another favourite winter activity on Lake Windermere.
